Cannonball Cocktail by Jim Meehan
2 OZ BANKS 7 GOLDEN BLEND RUM
0.75 OZ GRILLED LIME JUICE
0.75 OZ SIMPLE SYRUP
When ready to cook, start the Z Grill grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to High and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
For the grilled lime juice: Slice limes in half and place on the grill. For the garnish, take 1 lime and slice lime wheels 1/4" inch thick and place on grill. Cook for 15 minutes or until the limes have a nice grill mark on one side. Set the lime wheels aside. Juice the halved limes.
Combine all drink ingredients in a shaker glass with ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a grilled lime wheel and a pinch of cayenne. Enjoy!
