Smoke Screen Cocktailby Jim Meehan
2 OZ RANSOM WHISKEY
0.75 OZ GRILLED LEMON JUICE
0.75 OZ SMOKED SIMPLE SYRUP
When ready to cook, start the Z Grill grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set Z Grill temperature setting to High and allow grill to preheat for 10 to 15 minutes.
For the grilled lemon juice, slice 1 of the lemons in half and place on the grill. For the garnish, take other lemon and slice lemon wheels 1/4"inch thick and place on grill.
Cook for 15 minutesor until the lemons havegrill marks on one side. Set the lemon wheels aside. Juice the halved lemon (0.75 oz is about the amount of a half full alcoholic shot glass).
Combine all ingredients in a shaker glass with ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a grilled lemon wheel. Enjoy!
