Smoked Ice Mojito Slurpee
5 cups smoked ice
1 cup white rum
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup Smoked Simple
12 mint leaves
4 mint sprigs, for garnish
4 lime wedges, for garnish
When ready to cook, start the Z Grill according to grill instructions. Set the temperature to Smoke setting (set to Super Smoke if using a WiFIRE-enabled grill) and preheat, lid closed, for 10 minutes.
Pour 3 cups of water into a metal high sided pan. Place pan on grill and smoke water for 30 minutes.
Remove water from grill and pour smoked water into ice cube trays. Place in freezer until frozen.
Add rum, lime juice, Z Grill Smoked Simple Syrup, mint and smoked ice to blender.
Blend until a slushy consistency and pour into glasses.
Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wedge. Enjoy!
