Smoked Spring Tea Cocktail
1.5 OZ Vodka
3 OZ Smoked tea (Lapsang Souchong)
1.5 OZ lemonade
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Grilled lemons slices, for garnish
Mint leaves, for garnish
Fresh edible flowers, for garnish
When ready to cook start the Z Grill grill on smoke with the lid open until fire is established (4-5 minutes). Set the temperature to 450 degrees F (set to 500 degrees F if using a WiFIRE-enabled grill) and preheat, lid closed 10-15 minutes.
For the grilled lemon garnish: Coat lemon slices with sugar and put directly on the grill grate. Caramelized lemons until golden, about 15-20 minutes and use to garnish cocktail. Enjoy!
For the cocktail: Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice and strain over clean ice.
Garnish with a grilled lemon and mint. This cocktail can be batched into a pitcher as well. Enjoy!
