bbq beef sandwich
INGREDIENTS
1 (4-6 lb) chuck roast
1/4 Cup Your Favorite Coffee Rub
1 Cup beef broth
6 hamburger buns
1 white onion, sliced
As Needed dill pickles
1/2 Cup Your Favorite Special Sauce
As Needed Your Favorite Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce
PREPARATION
1
When ready to cook, set Z Grill temperature to 250℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
2
Trim excess fat from chuck roast. Rub roast with Z Grill Coffee Rub. Place roast on Z Grill and cook for 3-1/2 hours or until roast reaches an internal temperature of 160℉.
3
Remove roast from grill and wrap in a double layer of aluminum foil, add beef broth and place roast back in grill. Continue to cook for 1-1/2 hours while checking the temperature. The roast is done when the internal temperature reaches 204℉. Check every 30 minutes if internal temperature has not been reached.
4
Remove roast from grill and pull or shred the meat. Add the drippings back into the meat to help keep it moist.
5
Serve pulled roast in buns and top with sliced onions, pickles Z Grill Special Sauce and Z Grill Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce.
