bbq quick ribs

INGREDIENTS


  • 3 Rack baby back ribs

  • As Needed Your Favorite Pork & Poultry Rub

  • 1 As Needed Your Favorite Texas Spicy BBQ Sauce

PREPARATION

Lightly sprinkle Z Grill Pork & Poultry Rub on all sides of ribs. Cover and refrigerate ribs overnight.

When ready to cook, set Z Grill temperature to 500°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place ribs uncovered on the hot grill and cook for 15 minutes.

Reduce grill temperature to 325℉ and continue to cook the ribs for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, check that the meat has pulled back from the end of the bones 1/4 to 1/2 inch, if it hasn’t pulled back enough, cook another 15 minutes and check again. Ribs are done when the internal temperature reaches 201℉.

When ribs are done, glaze with Z Grill Texas Spicy BBQ sauce. Cook for 10 minutes longer for sauce to set.

Remove from grill and let rest 10 minutes.

To serve, slice ribs between bones and serve with additional BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
