grilled grapefruit buck cocktail
6 Whole Grapefruit, fresh
1/2 Cup turbinado sugar
12 Ounce vodka
1 lemon, juiced
3 Ounce Your Favorite Smoked Simple Syrup
8 Sprig fresh mint leaves
To Taste ginger beer
When ready to cook, start the Z Grill, set the temperature to 500 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Coat sliced grapefruit on both sides with turbinado sugar and place on preheated grill. Grill for 3 minutes per side or until you get some grill marks.
Add vodka, grapefruit juice (squeezed from about 4 grapefruits), lemon juice, Z Grill Smoked Simple Syrup and 1 sprig of mint leaves to a pitcher and stir vigorously with a cocktail spoon.
Add a handful of ice and stir vigorously for 30 seconds.
Pour into to 6 rocks glasses filled with ice and top with ginger beer.
Garnish with a grilled grapefruit slice and a mint sprig. Enjoy!
