grilled sirloin steaks
2 sirloin steak
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 Teaspoon onion powder
1 Teaspoon paprika
1 Teaspoon chile powder
1 Teaspoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Jacobsen Salt Co. Pure Kosher Sea Salt
1 Tablespoon ground black pepper
When ready to cook, set Z Grill temperature to 500°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
Remove steaks from the fridge and pat dry.
In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, onion, paprika, brown sugar, chili, Jacobsen Salt and pepper.
Rub both sides of the steak with the Jacobsen Salt and spice mixture.
When the grill is hot, place steaks on the outer rim of the grill, this is typically the hottest part of the grill. Close the lid and wait 3 to 4 minutes before checking them.
Cook the steak to desired internal temperature on one side without flipping it (130°F for medium-rare). When meat reaches desired temperature, flip and cook for 1 minute longer.
Pull the steaks and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
