smoked irish coffee
Ounce Strong Brewed Coffee
1/2 Cup heavy cream
2 Fluid Ounce whiskey
1 Tablespoon sugar
When ready to cook, set temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. For optimal flavor, use Pellet Tube if available.
Place the coffee and cream in separate shallow baking dishes and place both directly on the grill grate. Smoke for 10-15 minutes until the liquids pick up a slight smoke flavor.
Remove from the grill and cool the cream. When the cream is cool, whip in a stand mixer or by hand to soft peaks.
Pour the hot coffee into two mugs then add 2 oz of whiskey to each.
Top with smoked whipped cream and finish with freshly grated nutmeg if desired. Enjoy!
