the old orchard cocktail
INGREDIENTS
1 apple, sliced
1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 Ounce rye whiskey
3/4 Ounce Your Favorite Smoked Simple Syrup
1/2 Ounce fresh lemon juice
2 Ounce Angry Orchard Hard Cider
PREPARATION

When ready to cook, set Z Grill temperature to 500℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Toss apple slices in granulated sugar and cinnamon.

Place apple slices directly on the grill grate and cook for 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.

In a shaker, combine the whiskey, Z Grill Smoked Simple Syrup and fresh lemon juice.

Add ice and shake for 15 seconds to blend flavors.

Strain over clean ice into beer glass and top off with Angry Orchard Cider.

Garnish with a baked apple-cinnamon slice. Enjoy!
